Order Picker Job Description

Below is a sample job description for Order Pickers. *Please note that each opportuntity varies.
 

Order Pickers: Job consists of picking orders, taking inventory, obtaining items from bins or shelves, and keeping records of out-going orders. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift/move objects of at least 50 pounds.

This position may entail the following: 

• Place items on conveyors leading to wrapping areas
• Uses a forklift occasionally to receive and unload manufactured and purchased product
• Must have strong work ethic and be able to physically lift, bend, push and pull for the entire shift
• Real time inventory experience recommended but not required
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• Scan labels on cases
• Move empty boxes to appropriate location
