Delta Companies becomes part of Award Staffing

On April 3rd, Award Staffing and Delta Companies began their partnership. We have accumulated some frequently asked questions (FAQs) that you may have.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have!

1.     Why is this change happening?

The recruiting business is getting more challenging every day.  Aligning with an organization the size of Award Staffing gives Delta and its client and employee’s access to an enhanced network of offices and recruiters.  We expect to deliver a larger talent and opportunity pool by utilizing Award’s six offices across the Twin Cities.

2.     How will this impact current Delta Companies clients?

Starting April 3, 2017, all of the timecards and invoices for clients of Delta Companies will have Award Staffing’s name on them.  Prior to the April 3rd change, you received a packet that includes information that will have contact information for the office we have assigned to you, as well as the vast corporate resources Award has.  Award’s recruiting team has already begun working on your orders and you will be getting an update from your Account Manager on what the next steps are for getting new employees started.

We know that each temporary employee is in a temporary-to-hire position.  Nothing will change as it relates to your bill rate or hours to conversion.  An hour worked for Delta is an hour worked for Award!

3.     How will this impact me as a Delta Companies employee?

Starting April 3, 2017,  Delta Companies employees will become associates of Award Staffing.  As an Award associate, they will have a greater access to benefits and a large network of recruiters to support any friends and family members who might be looking for jobs in any industrial or clerical positions. This gives you access to a very progressive benefits package.  You will have access to 401k, health insurance and other benefits.  Your hours as a Delta employee will be grandfathered for Holiday pay benefits, meaning anyone that has over 500 hours worked will get paid for 6 holidays.  Lastly, you will start accruing hours toward Award’s Vacation Pay program once you start on April 3rd with Award Staffing.  As an Award Associate, you will have access to industry-leading benefits!
