Toolmaker Apprentice – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Toolmaker Apprentice
• Pay Rate: $20.00-$/hr
• Location: Ramsey, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• No direct experience is necessary. Willing to train anyone who is:
o Reliable.
o Listen and take directions from leads.
o An aptitude for machinery, math, production processing, fabricating.
o Hand eye coordination.
o Attention to details.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• After training under supervision, the duties will include:
o Preparation of raw materials for making different metal components.
o Operating equipment including but not limited to surface grinders, drill presses, hand tools, measurement tools, vertical mills, etc.
o Plan, perform, operate bench/machine operations to construct and alter metal components.
o Assembly of metal component/final product.
o Manage multiple products from beginning to end through each phase of manufacturing.
o Blueprint reading.
o Using measurement tools.
o Setting up/running mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, and cut saws.
o Assembly of product.
