Microscopic Assembly – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Microscopic Assembly
• Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
• Location: Coon Rapids, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-4:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or more.
• Required to lift 20lbs.
• Sitting for long durations of time is required.
• Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To assemble parts according to customer specifications on an assigned product line using more standard and repetitive assembly techniques
• Equipment Used: Tweezers, needle nose pliers, cutters, solder iron, magnifying light and microscope.
• Working on assembly line/ section · regularly required to sit and/or stand while performing motions requiring high manual dexterity for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 20lbs pounds.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination and be comfortable working with small components using a magnifying light and/or microscope.
• Maintain awareness of quality standard for process being used and determines with consultation of the supervisor when standards have not been met and parts must be scrapped.
• Sets up tools or fixtures required for specific procedures.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Working with small electrical Connectors
• Dimensional inspection, visual inspection, using micrometers and calipers, video comparators.
• A lot of microscope visual as well.
• Some computer work at times in certain positions.
• Sitting most of the day. Free to listen to your own music on phone as long as it is not a distraction.
