Logistics Associate – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Logistics Associate
• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr
• Location: Fridley, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General knowledge of warehouse, shipping and transportation procedures and practices preferred.
• Comfort and experience operating computers and a variety of computer software preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Logistics Associates are responsible for safely carrying out the daily operations of shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• A high level of attention to detail is required to quickly and correctly pick jobs for deliveries.
• Associates are also expected to maintain open communication with leads and supervisors to solve any issues that arise, this way leads and supervisors know when and where to provide support.
• Exposed to loud noise most of the shift. Authorized hearing protection is required.
• Exposed to a wide range of heat and cold, primarily due to normal fluctuations in indoor production area temperatures, and occasionally due to exposure to outdoor conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all Safety Rules.
• Picking Inventory.
• Assembling Orders.
• Ordering and coordinating trucks and shipping.
• Operating machinery.
• Driving several varieties of forklifts.
• Creating documentation (i.e. packing slips, BOL’s etc.).
• Receiving and warehousing product, to include proper documentation.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.
• Logistics support to the rest of the company.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Conduct daily inventories.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to operate independently.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Chrome).
• Capacity to operate a forklift (Licensed via Employer).
