Die Cutter – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Die Cutter
• Pay Rate Range: $18.00-$22.00/Hour
• Location: Chaska, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 0-1 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail orientated and well organized.
• Ability to solve practical problems occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Adheres to ISO guidelines and procedures.
• Standing for long durations of time.
• Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs all aspects of die cutting Procedures and Work Instructions and adheres to policies, objectives and initiatives.
• 85% Die cut and emboss parts according to customer specifications and tolerances.
• 5% Complete documentation, such as production sheets, sign offs on job travelers.
• 5% Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• 5% Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• Responsible to monitor for quality nonconformance and the authority to stop the process at any point if nonconformance, safety hazards, or situations affecting quality are discovered. Article documentation when required.
