• Job Title: New Product Process Technician
• Pay Rate Range: $25.00-$33.00/hr
• Location: Litchfield, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday–Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with optional overtime.
• Position Type: Temp To Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma required, degree in Manufacturing or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of technical manufacturing experience or related education.
• Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong statistical, analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with standard and metric measurements.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• 50 lbs. lifting ability, able to stand for an entire shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with 8D, RCCA, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, or computer-related mechanics.
• Experience with SolidWorks, CAD, or basic CAM.
• Experience with process capability studies and SPC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• The New Product Process Technician leads technical process development initiatives that improve manufacturing performance, quality, productivity, and capacity. This role serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues, conducting process analysis, validating improvements, and supporting the successful transfer of new products and technologies into production.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, RCCA, and similar methodologies.
• Conduct and document process experiments, trials, and improvements.
• Support new product introductions and process transfers into production.
• Develop and validate process improvements before implementation.
• Assist with fixture design, tooling improvements, and equipment modifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Research new technologies, tooling, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Analyze data, perform process capability studies, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor process performance using SPC and production metrics.
• Support quality systems, ISO requirements, and audits.
• Perform machine operator, machinist, or inspector duties as assigned.
• Assist with equipment setup, repairs, maintenance, and material changes to minimize downtime.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical support to process technicians and operators.
• Complete preventative maintenance on machines, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, spreadsheets, work orders, and ERP transactions.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting time and cost requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
