Lead Welder – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Lead Welder
• Pay Rate Range: $23.00-$30.00/hr
• Location: Rogers, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM, Overtime + Occasional Saturdays
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Previous experience with both MIG and TIG welding a must.
• Previous sheet metal industry experience.
• Ability to accurately work with calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Must be fluent in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be a team player.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.
• Willing to change tasks within the shop as workload necessitates.
• Pass pre-hiring background check and post-offer, pre-hire drug test.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize Mig and Tig welders to weld aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Assisting in the assembly of parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with Plant Manager throughout the day to see what needs to be welded.
• Supervise all welding projects and co-welders.
• Ensure parts are to spec. before and after weld.
