Assistant Property Manager Burnsville – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Assistant Property Manager Burnsville

• Pay Rate: $50,000.00-$55,000.00/salary

• Location: Burnsville, MN

• Schedule: 1s Shift Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

• Position Type: Direct Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience required.

• Excellent communication skills and a confident, positive, and professional attitude.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with prospective residents, current residents, and staff.

• Sound judgment in day-to-day matters and a problem-solving mindset.

• Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with property standards.

• Ability to assume Property Manager responsibilities and manage emergency protocols when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish rapport with prospective residents, identify their needs, show townhomes, and follow up on leads.

• Assist with lease renewal procedures, resident retention programs, and marketing promotions.

• Prepare lease packages, security deposit refunds, and move-in/move-out documentation.

• Assist with late rent collections, market surveys, and traffic/occupancy reporting.

• Receive resident maintenance requests, schedule work orders, and coordinate apartment turns/repairs in the manager's absence.

• Inspect vacant townhomes and step in for other property roles as needed.

• Implement emergency maintenance procedures during office hours, maintaining familiarity with utility shut-offs, safety equipment, and emergency contacts.
