Cable & Wiring Assembler – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Cable & Wiring Assembler
• Pay Rate Range: $23.00-$26.00/Hour
• Location: Spring Lake Park, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. High school Diploma or equivalent.
2. Certifications are required but are helpful.
3. Ability to work well independently and with others.
4. Strong attention to detail and organization.
5. Previous Assembly experience crimping and/or working with small terminal in the past. 3-5 years of experience.
6. Frequent use of hands and fingers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Wire cutting and crimping machine operation.
2. Crimp terminals on the wire using hand tools.
3. Apply labels, device IDs, and tie wires.
4. Machine operators - crimping and wire cutting.
5. The role involves assembling electrical components, wiring harnesses, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
6. Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the wiring requirements for specific projects.
7. Wiring and Assembly: Assemble electrical components.
8. Cable and Harness Assembly: Fabricate and assemble cables and wire harnesses, ensuring proper organization and connection of wires.
9. Ensuring all connections are secure and in compliance with safety regulations.
10. Soldering and Crimping: Utilize soldering and crimping techniques to make secure and reliable connections.
11. Properly utilize pneumatic and crimping tools.
12. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the wiring process to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
13. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wiring diagrams, changes, and work performed.
