CNC Machining Lead / Machinist – 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: CNC Machining Lead / Machinist
• Pay Rate Range: $35.00-$40.00/hr
• Location: Medina, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Several years of CNC machining experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising employees is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform tool changes, machine setups, and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
• Experience with manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and use hand tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• If you're a self-sufficient machinist who enjoys leading by example and solving problems on the shop floor, we'd like to hear from you.
• Supervise and support two employees operating CNC equipment.
• Perform CNC machine setups, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Assist with scheduling and overseeing secondary machining operations.
• Utilize manual machining equipment for setup and specialty work.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with the production team to keep operations running smoothly.
