About the Opportunity:
∙ Job Title: Final Inspector
∙ Pay: $20/Hour
∙ Location: Anoka, MN 
∙ Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM with optional O/T.
 
Daily functions:
  1. Accurately performs visual inspection on all assemblies for workmanship, dimensional check, tolerances, and usability.
  2. Reads and comprehends documentation relating to phases of production: customer supplied blueprints, parts lists.
  3. Records all inspection results onto an inspection report.   Keeps accurate and detailed records.
  4. Understands all production processes which relate to inspection, can use good judgment and discretion in determining acceptable standards.
  5. Reports any errors or major discrepancies to the group leader immediately so immediate corrective action may be taken.
  6. Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch breaks.
  7. Actively participates in quality efforts and supports the Quality Policy through accountable action.
  8. Responsible for compliance with the Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer.
  9. Act as an authorized agent to stop production when non-conformances are noted and immediately notify the group leader or supervisor.
  10. Accountable for accepting responsibility for continuous on the job training by actively participating in training put on by designated employees and/or any outside service.
Desired qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred, or related work experience
  2. 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
  3. Some basic troubleshooting on surface mount machines
  4. Reading and understanding technical documents such as blueprints, bill of materials, workmanship standards, equipment procedures, and other related documents
  5. Basic mathematics required.  
  6. Basic knowledge of electronic assembly is helpful.  
  7. Inspection experience preferred; basic data entry skills required.
Physical requirements:
  1. Ability to perform high manual dexterity and repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for up to 8 to 10 hours a day.  
  2. Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 25 pounds.  
  3. Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.
  4. Use of Hand tools, calipers, microscope, ring light, meters, copier and computer.
