Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Maintenance Technician
• Pay Rate: $72,000.00-$83,000.00/salary
• Location: Plymouth, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Direct Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Education / Experience:
o High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Four years of experience.
• Specific Job Knowledge:
o General knowledge of electricity.
o General knowledge of plumbing.
o General knowledge of small tool repair.
o General knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic repair
o General knowledge of small motor repair.
o General knowledge of building maintenance.
o Diagnosing and resolving problems independently and in a team setting.
o Strong on CNC machines (mills, machining centers, saws, etc.) and needs to be strong on lasers and any forming machines (P4, Flexibend, UpDown).
o Can read electrical schematics and diagnose electrical problems based on a schematic.
• Ability to lift 20-40lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on building systems and grounds, including electrical, pneumatic, roofing, and flooring systems.
• Responsible for repairing and maintaining shop equipment, including power shears, press brakes, CNC punch presses, electric and pneumatic grinders, drills, saws, and various pneumatic air tools.
• Ensure all equipment and facility components are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and established preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintains accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and service activities performed on buildings, equipment, and machinery.
• Repair and maintenance of building and grounds.
• Repair and maintenance of large industrial machine tool and facility equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of small tools.
• Repair and maintenance of welding machines.
• Read and interpret manufactures specifications.
• Service and repair of industrial vehicles.
• Equipment Used:
o All types of small tools and power hand tools
o Scissor lift
o Measurement gauges such as, feeler gauges, tapes and squares
o Forklifts
o Pallet trucks
o Electrical measuring devices
• Responsibility:
o Work with a minimal amount of supervision.
o Record time on job assignments.
o Complete job assignments on time.
o Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment.
o Record keeping on machines and tools.
o Regular attendance and punctuality.
