Production Associate – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Production Associate
• Pay Rate Range: $17.00-$19.00/hr
• Location: Delano, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required, technical or vocational training in manufacturing or chemistry a plus.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and follow strict safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and documenting data.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials for production batches.
• Accurately weigh and fill finished goods.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain chemical manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in the setup, calibration, and cleaning of production machinery.
• Perform labeling, packaging and storage of finished products.
• Pick, pack, and ship finished goods.
• Record production data, equipment readings, and material usage in logs or computer systems.
• Follow safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling practices.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Use forklift or pallet jack as needed to load/unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Follows all established policies and procedures.
• Follows inventory control process.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all production operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Supports other warehouse departments as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
