Deburr Technician

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Deburr Technician

• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$22.00/hr

• Location: Elk River, MN

• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM and Friday 6AM-12PM

• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Entry Level. Position can be taught.

• High attention to detail in order to remove the imperfection.

• Sitting for long periods of time and using your hands.

• You can put one earbud in as long as it is not causing distraction.

• Able to lift up to 50lbs - involve repetitive gripping, rotating hand motions, and leaning over for de-burring tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Removal of metal burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections using sandpaper, files, bristle brushes followed by washing parts in solvent to clean.

• Workstations have chairs to sit at and parts washing station you need to stand at.

• It is working on the same parts. Not a job shop.

• Candidate needs to be precise with their hands.

• It requires attention to detail.

• Sometimes they would have to look through a magnifying glass.
