Grinding Setup Operator

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Grinding Setup Operator

• Pay Rate Range: $22.00-$25.00/hr

• Location: Elk River, MN

• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM and Friday 6AM-12PM

• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Mitsubishi OD Grinder experience is a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints is highly preferred but can be taught.

• The programing and offsets can be taught.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grinding of metal parts to a determined size from a blueprint, grinding machines are Mitsubishi (Nidec) brand.

• Dimensions are taken from blueprints and job routings.

• Parts are measured by pressure micrometers that are set to established size.

• This position is a standing position.

• Focus on OD Cylinder grinding; Mitsubishi experience is a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints is highly preferred but can be taught.
