Shift Shipper – 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Shift Shipper
• Pay Rate: $20.50/hr
• Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 2:30PM-12AM & Friday 12PM-4PM (Mandatory overtime as needed, including Saturdays)
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma.
• Must have shipping experience with FedEx.
• Ability to perform moderate physical labor and repeatedly lift 10-20 pounds from floor to chest.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds occasionally during the shift.
• Experience in a shipping/warehouse environment PREFERRED.
• Keyboard & basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must be able to work overtime if needed.
• Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls, and reaches with hands and arms.
• Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift.
• Must have good physical strength and stamina, good hand-eye coordination and good dexterity in hand manipulation and muscle coordination.
• For training purposes, must be able to work a few weeks on 1st shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fills daily orders.
• Ensure enough pallets and boxes are available.
• Loads trucks.
• Keeps all stock areas organized and clean.
• Packaging and shipping UPS orders.
• Double checks all orders coming off the line.
• Cross trains in other positions.
• Operates floor scale.
• Processes paperwork involved in shipping and receiving product.
• Assembly.
• Other duties as assigned.
