Welder/Fabricator – 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
• Pay Rate Range: $25.00-$33.00/hr
• Location: Saint Paul, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding processes and materials.
• Working Knowledge of mathematics.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn.
• Trade School is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fabricate components to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Assemble and weld large, fabricated units with precision and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate proper welder setup and adjustment.
• Operate a manual plasma cutter.
• Identify steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes and their applications.
• Recognize common steel alloys and apply appropriate welding procedures.
